Approach
My skillset is almost unique having been a singer, career teacher, clinician and vocal coach for 40+ years, and my diagnostic skills are widely acknowledged by musicians and clinicians alike.
With over 40 years experience coaching singers at the highest levels in the worlds of Opera, Musical Theatre, Film and Television, I combine this with my clinical, physiological and anatomical knowledge and ongoing reading and exploration of the scientific world of voice, in order to tailor make my work to each individual I work with, in whatever setting.
My work covers many genres, in developing voices to their optimum potential, as well as rehabilitating voices which have had problems either technically or pathologically, as I was one of the first Clinical Vocal Consultants employed by the NHS in the UK since 1993.
I enjoy working as part of as multi-interdisciplinary team with a wide range of colleagues of different disciplines in helping singers achieve their ultimate goals.
